The Navajo Churro is a rare breed making it a novelty in addition to it being an excellent wool for felting. The Navajo Churro wool is also traditionally used for felted, knitted and woven outerwear.

Our wool never comes in contact with harsh chemicals, and is washed with surfactant free, all natural soap!

Our shearer is renowned Kevin Ford, author of the beautiful book, Shearing Day. Hand shearers are extremely rare, as electric shearers are the common tool of today. We feel fortunate to have him come each year, and the nearly lost art of hand shearing is a joy to watch.
