What do dryer balls do?
They're an energy-saving alternative to dryer sheets. They naturally soften clothes without the use of unwanted harmful chemicals contained in dryer sheet. Wool Dryer Balls can also reduce your dry time by 10-25%, saving you time and money and we have tests to prove it! And another added bonus, they reduce static and wrinkles!

Why?
Our wool Dryer Balls are felted from 100% wool. We use only wool grown on our farm and other small pre-qualified farms. Using wool from our farm and other farms that meet our standards enables us to offer a much higher quality control. We can safely say, "no chemicals, no dyes...just natural, humanely raised wool"
We proudly reach out to our community, working with folks trying to make ends meet. We have stay at home moms wanting to contribute to the family budget, some in between jobs, others that have had tragic circumstances. Regardless of why, we've grown to a wonderful cottage industry of folks, right here in North Carolina, making each ball by hand, with love and care.
Lastly but just as importantly, we are supporting the US wool farmers! Although the wool industry in the USA is small in comparison, we are mighty. As US wool farmers we raise healthy sheep that produce beautiful healthy wool. We are committed to the sheep and the US sheep farmers!
I had a customer once squeeze some of our yarn and reply, "healthy sheep". The two go hand in hand.
*Our packaging also follows our eco-friendly philosophy. Our bag is made from 100% wood pulp and is bio-degradable and our tags are made with post consumer paper and soy inks, also biodegradable. It costs us a bit more up front but we sleep better at night knowing we're doing everything we can to make Mother Earth smile!

We have what some might call a “picky” hat wearer here on the farm. So to have his stamp of approval is more significant than you may think. (yes, you guessed it… It is John)
Here were our requirements while we searched for our hats:
We needed a proportional, lower-profile crown size, with not too much structure, because sometimes you need to take it off in the barn and it needs to fit in a pocket. It also had to have the right kind of bill that shields your eyes from the sun, but isn’t to big that you can’t see sheep in your peripheral.
It was important to find a maker that used high quality materials and was preferably local.
With the goal of attention to detail and quality, it was also a requirement to have our logo embroidered, making our hats that much more durable but with an intricate, detailed polish.
We were looking for high quality stitching to be durable whether it was daily wear and tear or for improving our attire at the weekly farmers market.
We needed it to have an adjustable leather strap to provide versatility while also allowing a more customized, timeless look.
This pigment dyed dad hat has fulfilled all of our requirements. So in short, we give you the perfect hat.

Composed of the same protein as our skin, wool harmoniously cleanses and protects our skin. These sponges are perfect for a natural, low-impact skin care routine. They can be used and washed hundreds of times, reducing landfill waste, and are convenient for travel.
Our reusable wool face pads are a sustainable alternative to single-use makeup wipes and cotton balls. Great for applying face cream, lotion, toner, removing makeup, gentle exfoliation or simply cleaning your face with or without your favorite cleanser.
All you have to do is wet the sponge, gently wiping your face, then rinse the sponge and let it air dry. Using soap for the washing step is optional.
Wool is naturally antimicrobial, but if you feel like the sponge needs a deep clean, you can put it in the dishwasher or the washing machine. You should let it air dry, as the dryer will felt it further and minimize the size.
Some fibers shedding may occur during the initial few washes, don't worry, they will felt into the sponge with continued use.
