Olga Brewer Elder

An insurance executive with a crazy dream to be a farmer and live surrounded by all that mother nature has to offer. With a childhood full of unpredictable adventures one thing never varied, good cooks, good food, and fabulous food experiences. Although her adult years have been spent in the hub of city life, her backyard garden, exposure to great restaurants and chefs, and love of entertaining were always preparing her for this venture. Olga’s culinary desires matured to appreciate the incredible flavors and benefits of local and fresh food.

John Elder

Born and raised in the mountains of NC John was exposed to every aspect of farming. After pursuing a degree in Animal Husbandry and growing up in an era where farming lost it’s luster John decided to pursue “anything but” farming as a career. As his mother has told him, “you never really did get it out of your system” he has found himself today enjoying the recollection of the richness of his youth because of the farm and farming.
